Pall Mall is a street in the City of Westminster, London. It runs parallel to The Mall, from St. James's Street across Waterloo Place to the Haymarket, and continues as Pall Mall East into Trafalgar Square.

The name pall mall comes from a mallet-and-ball game from the 17th century. It is an exclusive area of London, and includes among others St James's Palace, Marlborough House and Carlton House. Two other significant buildings on Pall Mall are Schomberg House and the London residence of the Dukes of Buckingham and Chandos. It is called Buckingham House, but not the same Buckingham House as the one that is today Buckingham Palace.
Getting there
There isn't really a Tube station that is really close to Pall Mall. The nearest are Green Park, Charing Cross and Piccadilly Circus
Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
