Queensway Station, London

Queensway Station (GPS: 51.51046, -0.18719) is a London Underground station located just within the boundary of the City of Westminster with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is on Travelcard Zone 1, at the junction of Queensway and Bayswater Road, to the northwest of Kensington Gardens. The station is served by the Central Line between the Notting Hill Gate Tube Station and the Lancaster Gate Tube Station.

Queensway Tube Station began operations on 30 July 1900 as the Queen's Road Tube Station. It was renamed to its present name in 1946. It was closed between 8 May 2005 and 14 June 2006 for modernisation work. The nearest station from it is the Bayswater Tube Station, about 100 meters north of it.
