Stepney Green Station, London

Stepney Green Station (GPS: 51.52197, -0.04662) is a station of the London Underground in Stepney, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The station is located in Travelcard Zone 2, at the junction of Globe Road and Mile End Road. It is served by the District Line and the Hammersmith and City Line, both between the Whitechapel Tube Station and Mile End Tube Station.

Stepney Green Tube Station first began operations in 1902 for the Whitechapel & Bow Railway. The station has two sub-surface platforms with the ticketing office above ground. It serves the Mile End campujs of the Queen Mary, University of London.
