Turnham Green Station (GPS: 51.49529, -0.25503) is a station of the London Underground in Chiswick, in the London Borough of Hounslow. The station is in the boundary of Travelcard Zones 2 and 3. It is served by the District Line and the Piccadilly Line.
The Turnham Green Tube Station is located off Turnham Green Terrace. The station is across the road from the namesake green, next to the railway overpass. It opened in 1869 for the London and South Western Railway. The Metropolitan District Railway, precursor of today's District Line, began operating here in 1877 while the Piccadilly Line began operations here in 1932.
