Wembley Park Station (GPS: 51.56331, -0.27937) is a station of the London Underground in Wembley Park, in the London Borough of Brent. The station is on Bridge Road, within Travelcard Zone 4. It is served by the Metropolitan Line and Jubilee Line. It is the nearest station to Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena.
The Wembley Park Tube Station began operations in 1893 for the Metropolitan Railway, precursor of the Metropolitan Line. The tracks have been laid as early as 1880 towards Harrow. Wembley Park itself was developed by the Metropolitan Railway as a recreational destination. Services transferred to the Bakerloo Line in 1939. Services were transferred again in 1979, to the Jubilee Line.
