Whitehall Court, London

Whitehall Court refers to both the street as well as the building along it, in the City of Westminster, London.

Whitehall Court, the building, is in fact two separate structures. The one at the junction with Northumberland Avenue was designed by Alfred Waterhouse, and is occupied by the National Liberal Club.

The other structure was designed by Archer & Green and completed in the mid-1880's. It holds the addresses 1 to 4 Whitehall Court. Of these, 1 & 2 Whitehall Court today houses the Royal Horseguards Hotel while 3 & 4 Whitehall Court are residential.

Whitehall Court was the home of several celebrities including George Bernard Shaw and H.G. Wells. It is visible from the Thames and are frequently photographed by tourists passing on ferryboats.

Take the Bakerloo Line, Circle Line, District Line or Northern Line to the Embankment Tub Station and walk from there.
