Winslow is a small market town in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located within the district of Aylesbury Vale and has a population of 4500 people (2012 estimate).
The history of Winslow goes back to the Anglo-Saxon period. It was mentioned for the first time - as
Wineshauue - in AD 792, when King Offa granted it to St Albans Abbey. It remains a small town of moderate significance to this day.
Visiting Winslow
From London, take the M1 motorway to Junction 13, then continue west on the A421 road. After passing Bletchley, prepare to turn left to the B4033 road heading south to Winslow.
