Tenby (Welsh: Dinbych-y-Pysgod) is a seaside town in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The town of some 5,000 people (2011 estimate) has medieval walls dating back to the 13th century.

Tenby is believed to have been established in the 9th century. The town developed around the now-ruined Tenby Castle, built in 1153. It began to make a name as a health resort since the Georgian and Victorian eras.

Today's Tenby has managed to retain its handsome Georgian character without falling headlong into over-commercialization, as has happened in other seaside towns. As a result, visitors can still enjoy its small town feel, with its narrow strees and alleyways.
