Areca Hotel in George Town has just rolled out a value meal set at just RM8.99. This is their Canai Cheese Bolognese. This is a roti canai wrap. It is stuffed with cheese bolognese, and served with French fries, egg sunny side up and teh tarik. The meal is available the whole day from 7:30am in the morning through lunch and dinner, and is great for lunch or dinner gatherings.

My wife and I had the pleasure of trying the Canai Cheese Bolognese which we enjoyed very much. We love the roti canai, which was done to a crisp. The French fries were also equally crispy. At just RM8.99, we find that this is a very good value meal to have at a hotel. You can order it as walk-in guests at the hotel's dining outlet, Areca Cafe.

In addition to the Canai Cheese Bolognese, the hotel also let us try three different Nyonya set meals. We tried the Aromatic Curry Set (RM25), the Curry Fish Set (RM28) and the Nyonya Chili Fish Set (RM28). The sets come with white rice, papadom and either lor bak or jiu hu char. These come with a choice of drinks (coffee, tea, iced nutmeg juice or iced lemongrass tea) and the dessert of the day which was waffle with ice cream.

For drinks, I had Iced Chocolate while my wife had Peppermint Tea.
