What is there to eat in Jelutong, Penang? The suburb of Jelutong, located immediately to the south of George Town, was formerly regarded as a working-class counterpart to Penang's capital. But now that the city has included the entire Penang Island, Jelutong has gentrified to become one of the major residential neighbourhoods. It has one of the most vibrant market scene in Penang, with two major markets, namely the Jelutong Market and Perak Road Market.
