Fuan Wong The Gallery & Studio Howard (GPS: 5.41482, 100.33792) are two art galleries occupying a shophouse at No. 13, Armenian Street in George Town, Penang. The premises are shared between glass sculptor Fuan Wong and photographer Howard Tan, as a showcase of their works.

Fuan Wong The Gallery occupies the ground floor space of the building. It displays works of art fashioned from glass by the internationally renowned glass sculptor. The the glass art objects here are available for purchase. In addition to that, the gallery also sells books on Penang and Malaysia, and various souvenirs.

Opening Hours

Fuan Wong, The Gallery is open daily, including public holidays, from 10:00am to 6:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break at 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

A tour of Fuan Wong, The Gallery

My wife and I paid a visit to Fuan Wong The Gallery and had a chance to look around. I was overwhelmed that the artist asked me to pick a piece of his works as a gift. I selected an exquisite glass sculpture called a pi disc. It has the design of foliage in different colours. Now this piece of art object has found a new home in my living room.

The upstairs of the building is occupyed by Studio Howard. This is a gallery with photographs by photographer Howard Tan. Artist Tom Powell is also occupying part of the upstairs where he exhibits some of his works.
