Room Review of GLOW Penang

I had the opportunity to do a room review tour during my stay at GLOW Penang. Let me show you the rooms at this hotel.

There are 131 rooms at GLOW Penang. The room types are single, double, triple and family. I was taken on a tour of the rooms at Glow Penang, for the benefit of visitors reading Penang Travel Tips. In addition to the double room which my wife and I occupied, we had a view of the single room, triple room and family room. On the whole I find the rooms to be quite spacious for a city hotel.

In these photos you will find that the rooms are quite dark. That's because the blinds are pulled. These blinds cut out all light. If you pull them up, then suddenly the rooms become too bright, and you'd realize hot the city is outside. But with the blinds down, the rooms are cold and comfortable.

The Single Room
The single room at GLOW Penang, the smallest of all the rooms we view. Notice the full black-out blind on the right. It fully cuts off outside light, shielding the room from the heat of the city outside.

The Double Room
The double bed at GLOW Penang is actually the bed we use when we were invited to try out the facilities of the hotel. I like the individually adjustable night light at each side of the bed. You can turn it any which way if you want to read in bed.

The Triple Room
This is the Triple Room at GLOW Penang, comprising one Queen-size bed and one single bed.

The Family Room
This is the family room at Glow Penang. It has a master bed on one side, and two single beds on the other.

The bathrooms
The bathrooms are only of moderate size, except for the one of the single room, which maybe due to how the space is cut up, provides it quite a big bathroom.
