I have only discovered this stall recently, on 25 November, 2017, because my favourite char koay teow stall on Carnarvon Street - the Tiger Char Koay Teow - was closed, so we walked down Carnarvon Street and discovered this stall. The price of the char koay teow here is even higher than at Tiger's. It is RM8.00 for the regular plate and RM10.00 for the large plate. My wife and I decided to "go for it", and we ordered two large char koay teow to go.
The RM10 plate comes with several very large prawns. Although we ordered it to go, even after several hours later, the taste was still very good. In addition, I like the big chunks of lap3cheong2 (Chinese sausages) in this char koay teow. The combination of the aroma of frying koay teow, soysauce and Chinese sausages was simply mouth watering. Suddenly this has become by favourite char koay teow. This is the case of, give me good char koay teow and I don't mind paying the price.
Operating hours
Good Taste Char Koay Teow stall is open daily except Wednesdays from 10:00am to around 4:00pm.

About this website
Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.
While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
