The members of the Penang Hawker Food and Penang Restaurant Food Facebook Groups are asked to recommend what's good to eat in Air Itam, and this is their recommendation, based on this post and this post.

- Kim Kooi Lim recommended the asam and lemak laksa at Keat Seng Coffee Shop in the Choong Nam area. Jeffrey Yeoh recommended the Koay Chiap at the same coffee shop. (GPS: 5.40459, 100.28662)
. - Moh Hock Foo recommended the Ah Leng Char Koay Teow at Lorong Zoo 6. (GPS: 5.40273, 100.28431)
