Real Estate Review: Grandview Heights Apartment, Paya Terubong
Grandview Heights is a low-medium-cost apartment in Paya Terubong, Penang. Not to be confused with Grandview Condominium in Tanjong Tokong, Grandview Heights is located on a hillslope at Lorong Bukit Kukus, Paya Terubong. Also called Block 16, it comprises a single 20-storey block that was built on freehold land. Each unit at Grandview Heights has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a built-up area of 700 sqft.
Pricing
Sept 2014: Asking price for one unit is between RM85,000 and RM100,000.
Facilities
Facilities include 24-hour security, selected covered parking lot and general maintenance.
Grandview Heights Apartment is 10 km from Komtar. It is quite far from the city centre, and the fact that it is located on elevated ground means more fuel consumption of driving uphill daily.
Traffic
Traffic along Lorong Bukit Kukus is low though it links to Jalan Paya Terubong which experiences heavy traffic during rush hours.
Public Transport
The nearest bus stop is a good 20-25 minutes' walk away on Tingkat Paya Terubong 2. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 306 and 502.

About this website
Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.
While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
