Greenlane Heights Block 3 (GPS: 5.39299, 100.29803) is a high-rise apartment block along Jalan Gangsa in
Island Park, Penang. It is part of the
Greenlane Heights residential neighbourhood. Greenlane Heights Block 3 breaks away from the usual naming convention as the two previous blocks were called
Block A and
Block B (I have no idea why it isn't called Block C, considering there is no Block 1 or Block 2!) It is 18 storeys tall, and has a total of 340 apartment units of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, on freehold land.

Facilities include security and parking lot.

Location
Greenlane Heights Block 3 is 5.7 km from
Komtar. It is suitable for people working in the city, though I find the place so densely crowded. But it is still an affordable option for those with a middle class income.
Public Transport
It's a long walk, but some people do walk all the way from Block 3 to the bus stop at Green Lane, some 1 km away.
Rapid Penang Bus
11, 206 and
304 are the buses that pass through there.
Amenities
The nearest schools are
Sekolah Menengah Chung Hwa Confucian,
Convent Green Lane, Sekolah Menengah Georgetown and
Penang Free School. The nearest market is the
Greenlane Heights Market. The nearest hypermarket is Lotus's Penang. The nearest
petrol station is the Island Park Caltex, Greenview BHP, Green Lane Petronas and Green Lane Shell. The nearest hospital is
Lam Wah Ee Hospital.
Traffic
Traffic in Greenlane Heights is moderate. Block 3 is one of the most densely crowded blocks at Greenlane Heights. Traffic gets heavy towards
Jalan Tembaga and
Jalan Besi approaching the traffic lights with Green Lane. Greenlane Heights Block A is located along Jalan Besi, which is the outermost block within the Greenlane Heights development.
