Astaka Hillside Tanjong Bungah (6 March 2024)


Astaka Hillside Tanjong Bungah (GPS: 5.46522, 100.29252) is a hawker centre at Hillside in Tanjong Bungah, Penang. It opened to the public on 15 October 2023. The hawker centre replaces Mutiara Food Court which burned down in a fire on 6 November 2020. Following the fire, the Penang State Government announced plans to build a new food court on the site, at an estimated cost of RM3.5 million. Astaka Hillside Tanjong Bungah is the result.
