Hillside is a neighbourhood of Tanjong Bungah, Penang. It got its name from its geographical topography facing the northern coast of the island. The Hillside area was once a favoured residential area of personnel attached to the Royal Australian Air Force, which had its base in Butterworth. The houses here were built in the late 1950s through to the 1970s. Since then, there are a number of condominium projects in the Hillside area since the late 1990s.
