Hock Teik Chi Temple, Permatang Tinggi (22 August 2015)


Hock Teik Chi Temple (GPS: 5.30157, 100.47748; Traditional Chinese: 威峇東丁宜福德祠, Simplified Chinese: 威中峇东丁宜福德祠, Pinyin: Wēibādōng Dīngyí Fúdécí) is a Tua Pek Kong temple in Permatang Tinggi, Bukit Mertajam. In other words, it was built for the veneration of the Taoist god of prosperity and tutelary deity, Tudigong (土地公). The temple was built in 1967, and is located on Jalan Gereja, just next to the Chapel of St Mary Magdalene.
