Ah3 Hock3 is a historical novel written using Taiji Romanisation of romanising Penang Hokkien. The story is set in the 17th century. Characters and events in this story are fictional with any resemblance to any actual people or events being purely coincidental, while background information is derived from historical events over which the author exercises liberty.
