Hong Aun Hotel Building (30 July 2015)


Hong Aun Hotel Building (GPS: 5.41995, 100.33014) is an Early Modern-style building on Transfer Road, in George Town, Penang. The two-storey building is located at the junction of Hutton Lane. The façade wrapes from Hutton Lane to Dindings Lane.

At time of writing (September 2015), the building appears to be boarded up on the ground floor, with the upper floor being occupied by cheap lodgings. I am not sure if the building still functions as a hotel, but it would be nice if it could be restored and readapted for present-day usage.
