Hong Leong Bank is a Malaysian bank with many branches in Penang. Its history goes back to 1905, when it began as Kwong Lee Mortgage and Remittance Company in Kuching, Sarawak. This is the predecessor to Kwong Lee Bank, which later became MUI Bank and then Hong Leong Credit Berhad. In 2011, Hong Leong Bank merged with EON Bank.
