Fettes Park Chinese Temple in 2010 (24 October 2010)
Hong San Si (GPS: 5.45217, 100.3033; Traditional Chinese: 鳳山寺, Simplified Chinese: 凤山寺) or in
Penang Hokkien, Hong33 San3 Si33, is a Chinese temple along Jalan Fettes in
Tanjong Tokong, Penang. The name means "Temple of the Phoenix Mountain". It is located immediately west of
Prima Tanjung Business Centre. Began as a small shrine in the mid 20th century, the temple has been enlarged a few times, with the most recent renovations completed in 2009.
The new façade of the Fettes Park Chinese Temple is finished in granite. The main porch leading to the prayer hall is supported by four exquisitely carved garnite pillars. The roof ridges points upwards and are embellished with dragons and phoenices.

The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Fettes. It is served by
Rapid Penang bus 102.
