Hotel Rope Walk, George Town

Hotel Rope Walk is a now defunct hotel in George Town, Penang. It used to occupy a 5-storey block at the junction of Rope Walk and Jalan Cheong Fatt Tze. Its premises is now taken over by Le Dream Boutique Hotel. Hotel Rope Walk offered affordable accommodation in the hear of the city, and is close to many sights and offices.

Getting there

It is possible to walk to Hotel Rope Walk directly from the Komtar Bus Terminal. Take Jalan Ria heading north until you reach the junction with Prangin Road (Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leong). Turn left, walk along Prangin Road until you reach the junction of Rope Walk (Jalan Pintal Tali). Do along Rope Walk until you see Hotel Rope Walk on your right. The hotel is located on the upper floors while the ground floor is occupied by Exotic Aluminium Glass Works Sdn Bhd.
