Hotel Seri Malaysia (GPS: 5.324341, 100.283035) is a two-star hotel in Bayan Baru, Penang. It is suitable for families looking for a clean, budget place to stay. It is also not too far from Sunshine Square and Giant Hypermarket.
In the last few years since this article was first written (in 2009), a number of new development is happening around Hotel Seri Malaysia. Among them, to the east of the hotel is a development called Uptown Bayan Baru, while to the west is Promenade Residence. On the northeast is Quartermile while to the north is D'Piazza Condominium. It is a relatively inexpensive hotel if you are visiting Bayan Baru.
