Ixora Hotel 2017 Christmas Food Review

Ixora Hotel has prepared a fantastic series of buffets for Christmas 2017, and has invited my wife and me to join our friends in the print and social media to review it on Saturday, 18 November, 2017.

Before I show you all the gorgeous items we had, let me give you a run-down of the promotions Ixora Hotel is having for December, 2017.

Buffet Lunch - European Cuisine Menu
This buffet is held Mondays to Fridays from 12:00pm to 2:30pm. The hotel rotates four different menus. Price is RM45nett per adult and RM28nett per child (aged 4-12) or senior citizen (aged 60 and above). The menu comprises Soup (Cream of Garlic with Oysters, Prawn Gumbo Soup), Hot Dishes (Slow Braised Chicken Stew with Vegetables, Braised Lamb with Tomatoes and Capsicums, Fillet of Fish and Potato Baked and Braised Vegetables with Tomato Sauce-Ratatouille) and Dessert (Burnt Cream and Chocolate Choux Puff)
Cocktail & mocktail of the month
The "Christmas Rudolph" cocktail (RM22nett) and "Santa Punch" mocktail (RM18nett) is available throughout the month of December, 2017.
Christmas Yule Log
Just for the Christmas season, Ixora Hotel is selling this as cake of the month, priced at RM50nett for the 500g cake.
Christmas Bakery Country
On sale at The Straits Cafe and Lounge are the Christmas Pudding (0.5kg, RM50nett), Christmas Yule Cake (0.5kg, RM50nett) and Fruit Cake (0.5kg, RM50nett).
Turkey To Go
You may order a turkey from Ixora Hotel, available as take-away only, from 15th to 25th December, priced at RM460nett per bird. 3 days advance is required with deposit of RM200nett per bird.
Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner
To be held on Sunday, 24 December, 2017, from 7:00pm to 10:30pm, with live band performing. Santa Claus and Santarina will be on hand, and guests may get the Christmas Party pack and join the games. Price is RM88nett per adult and RM58nett per child (aged 4-12)
Christmas Day Buffet Lunch
To be held on Monday, 25 December, 2017, from 12:00pm to 2:30pm. Price is RM58nett per adult, RM38nett per child (aged 4-12) and RM38nett per senior citizen (aged 60 and above).
"Meet Santa" Session
Bring your kids to Ixora Hotel to meet Santa Claus. Santa will go around the function room and lobby to mingle with the guests. The hotel has prepared small gifts for guests, however they need to follow the instructions below to claim the gift.

1. "LIKE" the Ixora Hotel Facebook Fan Page
2. Take photo/selfie with Santa.
3. Post the photo and tag Ixora Hotel.
4. Show the post to claim gift from the hotel's friendly staff.
