Ixora Hotel is now having a Ramadan buffet. Themed Sinaran Ramadan, it offers a wide variety of Muslim dishes to whet the appetite at the break of fast. Held at the hotel's main F&B outlet, The Straits Cafe, the buffet runs from 1 to 21 June, 2017, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. It is priced at RM75nett per adult and RM48nett per child aged 4-12. There will be a lucky draw where diners stand to win excellent prizes including a motorcycle, a flatscreen television set and an air purifier.

Sinaran Ramadan Buffet Food Review
My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying the Sinaran Ramadan buffet at the invitation of Ixora Hotel on 3 June, 2017. It was the first time that we have visited this hotel. We got there quite early, as the buffet was being set up. So we sat in the lobby for a while, until a few of our blogger friends have arrived, and then we all entered The Straits Cafe together, where we were met by the hotel's Marketing Executive, Ms Shawn Leong.
The Ramadan Iftar dishes were spread across the entire food hall, occupying stations all along the wall. What a lot of mouth watering dishes! They were grouped together, with ulam and kerabu near the entrance, along with dips and sambals, and across on the other side, there was various beverages. Further down, there were the main dishes, and on the other side of the food hall, was arrayed the desserts, kuih-muih, puddings and cakes. On yet another side of the hall, there was various types of dates.
In the open air area outside the air-conditioned restaurant, a whole lamb was being grilled. Next to it, there was an ice kacang stall, and beside it, I found mee gandung and Singapore bee hoon. Later on, I also discovered mini Cornetto ice cream cones. Though small, I couldn't eat even one, because by then I was simply just too full.
I was so spoilt for choice that evening, and once again, I ate more than I should. My wife and I had a great time at this buffet, and we convey our heartfelt thanks to Ixora Hotel for having invited us.
