Olive Tree BBQ Jamboree Buffet is a weekly barbecue buffet at Olive Tree Hotel Penang. It was launched on 23 September, 2016, and happens every Friday from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. The buffet, which takes place at Cups & Mugs Café, is priced at RM88+ per adult, RM44+ per child aged 5-12, and RM55+ per senior adult aged 55 and above. During the launch, diners of the BBQ Jamboree Buffet enjoy an introductory offer of free flow of beer at just RM20+ per person.

My wife and I had the privilege of trying out the BBQ Jamboree Buffet prior to its launch. Thank you Olive Tree Hotel for inviting us! The BBQ Jamboree Buffet offers a wide range of meats including striploin, lamb chop, beef spare ribs, marinated New Zealand lamb shoulder, chicken wings, chicken drumsticks and various skewered vegetables such as mushrooms and capsicums, and chicken and beef burgers.

It's not all barbecued meats, of course, there's also various tapas, rice dishes, salads, for a full meal.
