Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa Penang continues to accumulate accolades as we start the second half of 2018. The two awards that have landed on its lap come from Smart Travel Asia and Luxury Travel Guide.

Among the awards it has garnered include the 5th spot in "Best Family Hotel in Asia" and 9th spot in "Best Travel Poll" from Smart Travel Asia, based on a poll of SmartTravelAsia.com's 1.2 million unique readers. The readers were asked to vote based on their personal experience of products and services they received from hotels, luxury resorts, spas, destinations, business cities, airlines and airports.

Also this year, Rasa Sayang Resort received the Luxury Beachfront Hotel of the Year - Malaysia award from Luxury Travel Guide (LTG), based on an assessment by industry professionals after rigorous vetting.

The General Manager of Rasa Sayang Resort Ms Elaine Yue said, "This marks a great run of success for Rasa Sayang to achieve a double honour from Smart Travel Asia and an award from Luxury Travel Guide."
