Bazaar Ramadan is the Ramadan buffet dinner at
Royale Chulan Penang for 2018. It is held at the hotel's main dining outlet, Sri Tanjung Café from
18 May until 13 June, 2018, from 7:20pm onwards. It is priced at
RM88nett per adult and
RM58nett per child and senior citizen. For a limited time until
15 May, 2018, there is an early bird promotion at just
RM70nett per adult and
RM40nett per child or senior citizen.

Bazaar Ramadan Buffet Dinner Preview
Last night, my wife and I were spoilt for choice at Royale Chulan Penang's Ramadan buffet dinner preview. This year, the hotel is embarking on a Bazaar theme, with various food stalls set up at the hotel atrium. Inside Sri Tanjung Café, more dishes were available, neatly arranged in rows, at different food stations and food islands.
What we enjoyed last night represented the tip of the iceberg, the best of several Ramadan menus which the hotel will be rotating over the course of the buffet period. I was so glad that the hotel's
cucur and
pengat pisang were available. These were among the dishes which I always enjoyed at Royale Chulan Penang. But that hardly describes all the glorious food out there. I also enjoyed the
Asam Pedas Ekor Lembu, the
Sambal Tumis Udang Petai,
Kerabu Pucuk Paku, and even the
Tempoyak. In addition to plain water, we have a wide selection of beverage to choose - I went for the dates drink and the longan drink, and I enjoyed both.
