Saturday Seafood Buffet Food Review
My wife and I were privileged to an invitation from Royale Chulan Penang to try out their Saturday Seafood Buffet yesterday, 27 January, 2018. The buffet has just started a week before, and we were eager to have a chance to enjoy it.
One of the highlights of this seafood buffet is - and this might surprise you - the fish and chips. We have enjoyed the fish and chips at Royale Chulan Penang before, and we look forward to having it again at this seafood buffet. I love the crispiness of the crust that blends well with the softness of the fish, which is just nice and not overcooked.
Another item which I enjoyed greatly is the Ocean View Lasagna. Dig in, I found lots of chunky prawns in this dish. I returned for second.
In addition to seafood, there's a lot of other items, including salads, cakes, puddings, burgers, laksa and sweet broths. Let me show you the items I came across.

My wife and I had a lovely time at Royale Chulan Penang. We tried to eat as many dishes as we can, but there's more items at this buffet than we can manage. Often we have to select those the we liked the most. We are so thankful to be invited, and we register our thanks to Royale Chulan Penang for giving us the opportunity to enjoy this buffet.

About this website
Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.
While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
