Tropicale Residency (GPS: 5.33434, 100.50032) is a gated community in Machang Bubok, a neighbourhood on the eastern side of Bukit Mertajam, Penang. It was developed on freehold land by GTM Property. The development was carried out as Tropicale Residency and Tropicale Residency II.
Tropicale Residency itself was developed in two phases. Phase I involving 216 units was completed with CCC obtained in July 2014 while Phase II with 107 units obtained the CCC in August 2015.
There are four designs to choose, named Senna (2-storey terrace), Zanna (2-storey zero-lot bungalow), Durio (2-storey luxurious bungalow) and Tara (3-storey luxurious bungalow).
In phase two of Tropicale Residency, there are 50 units of 2-storey terrace houses. There are four types to choose. While built up area remains the same 20ft by 40ft, land size varies with Type A being 31ft by 60ft, Type B 20ft by 60ft, Type C 31ft by 80ft and Type D 20ft by 80ft. It was completed in 2017.
