Hua Hee Restaurant 歡喜中餐廳 (GPS: 5.31989, 100.26863) is a Chinese restaurant in Sungai Ara, Penang. It is located along Tingkat Kenari in Taman Desaria. It opened in November, 2016. My wife and I were invited there to lunch when I joined a small group of local food bloggers. The trip was arranged by our friend, the food blogger CK Lam.

Before we came, my wife told me she has heard about this restaurant and that they are famous for their crabs, so I was looking forward to trying that. When we got there, we discovered that the restaurant was in fact opened by my wife's distant relatives. They didn't even know that my wife is married to a full-time blogger! Later on, the chef came out to meet us, and he and my wife have known each other since they were small.
