Huang Koong Barber Shop (GPS: 5.42039, 100.33) is an old-time barber shop in George Town, Penang. It is located at the intersection of Hutton Lane and Transfer Road. This traditional Chinese barber shop has been occupying the same old pre-war shophouse for the past 48 years. It is run by a Mr Ling, who is fondly known as Ah Ling.

Ah Ling is no stranger to the neighbourhood, and anybody in need of a quick fix or gentleman hair cut. His shop is frequented by customers of all ages from teens to professional adults to senior citizens. Ah Ling's forte is definitely the smart "crew cut".

Ah Ling still uses old-school method and old-school tools to achieve those desired smart hair cut for his loyal patrons. If you are a sentimental person who love walking down memory lane, Ah Ling's shop is a must visit where the interior layout will instantly set you off to a nostalgic throwback in time. The barber shop operates 6 days a week from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays.
