"I Want Pau" Mural, Armenian Street Ghaut, Penang (15 February 2014)
"I Want Pau!" is a mural on a wall in
Armenian Street Ghaut, in
George Town, Penang. It shows two children stretching their hands from inside a window towards a parked bicycle carrying a stack of rattan stays, possibly laden with steamed buns.
The "I Want Pau" Mural graces the side wall of the
Ming Xiang Tai Pastry Shop, acting possibly as an artistic billboard for the business within. The mural was painted by WK Setor, who has been an artist for over twenty years. He named this mural 哥妹俩的童年回忆 or
Childhood in English. He was invited to do the mural by his friend who run the pastry business. The mural depicts the two children of the proprietor. It was completed Chinese New Year 2014.

Today I have the pleasure of meeting up with Mr WK Setor. Who? He is the artist responsibly for possibly the 2nd most popular mural in Penang, the "I Want Pau" Mural (based of result of the
2014 People's Choice conducted by the Penang Street Art Facebook Group). Mr Setor is taking me around to view the murals and artwork he has done at various places in Penang. Here we are at his famous "I Want Pau" Mural.

Mr Setor was engaged to do this mural because the owner of the biscuit shop happened to be his friend. Since then, he has also done various other murals, including the ones at Penang Time Tunnel, Penang 3D Trick Art Museum and The Boat Food Court, among others.
