Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh

Dirang is a small town in West Kameng district, in Arunachal Pradesh, India. The town is primarily a farming community. The people of Dirang tend apple orchards and breed sheep.

Dirang has hot springs that are popular with locals as well as tourists. The people in Dirang speak Monpa as well as Hindi Assamese. English is also quite widely understood.

To reach Dirang, take a plane to Tezpur or a train to Rangapara. From there, take a bus to Bomdila, and from Bomdila, another bus to Dirang.
