Varanasi Cantonment Railway Station, Varanasi. (15 November, 2004)

The
Varanasi Cantonment Railway Station is one of the major railway stations in India. I passed through this railway station twice, on my way to Varanasi, and again, on my way back to
Delhi. This is the railway station that suffered a bomb blast on March 7, 2006.
I travelled by first class coach, a very comfortable experience compared to the other classes. Nevertheless, it provided me an opportunity to glimpse life among the common people while allowing a degree of separation in case it is too much for comfort.
