Bedugul is a highland area in north-central Bali. Located on the road between Denpasar and Singaraja, Bedugul is centered on Lake Bratan, the beautiful lake hemmed in by high mountains. As Bedugul is about 1,500 meters (4,900 feet) above sea level, it enjoys a relatively cooler climate than the lowlands.
