Nusa Dua is a coastal area on the eastern side of the
Bukit Peninsula. It has been specially developed to cater for high-end tourists. On this stretch you can find some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts on the island.
There are at least three golf courses here, namely the Nusa Dua Golf Course, Bali Golf and Country Club, and the Amanusa Golf. Club Med, Conrad Bali Resort & Spa, and Grand Hyatt are just two of famous resorts located here. Other facilities at Nusa Dua includes the Bali International Convention Centre and the Galleria complex.
The name Nusa Dua means "two islands". It refers to two islets off the coast of Nusa Dua. During low tide, these islands become capes linked to the mainland.
