Ismail Tomyam is a Malay restaurant in Sungai Tiram, Penang. As its name suggest, the speciality here is its signature Malay-style tomyam. The restaurant also sells other Malay dishes and meals, such as various types of fried rice and noodle dishes.

I remember Ismail Tomyam from the days when I was working in the Bayan Lepas multi national company. Once a while we would come here for lunch.

Getting there

If you come by car, some times you can park at the compound of the Sungai Tiram Shell station next to it. If coming by bus, take Rapid Penang bus 102, 305, 306, 401 and 401E. The bus stop is quite a distance away though.
