Jalan Kampung Bukit, Bayan Lepas, Penang (6 January 2017)
Jalan Kampung Bukit is a road in Bayan Lepas, Penang. It was created through the hillside of Bayan Lepas, to connect with Jalan Bayan Lepas, at the junction of Jalan Permatang Damar Laut. This changes the junction into an intersection.
Initially a two-way street, Jalan Kampung Bukit was turned into a one way street to ease traffic congestion on Jalan Bayan Lepas and Jalan Teluk Kumbar. The implementation of the one-way system also changes the final stretch of Jalan Dato' Ismail Hashim into a one-way street.
Some maps, including Google Maps, labels Jalan Kampung Bukit as Jalan Dato' Ismail Hashim. Unless there is a change on that matter, I will continue to label it as Jalan Kampung Bukit.
