Jalan New Ferry is one of the main roads in Butterworth. This relatively short road begins at the intersection with Jalan Bagan Luar to the west, and ends at the intersection with Jalan Sungai Nyior and Jalan Assumption to the east, from where it continues as Jalan Chain Ferry.

By Car, from ferry
Coming from Penang Island by ferry, turn right upon exiting the Butterworth Ferry Terminal at the first traffic lights. (In the street view below, it's the road on the right side of the Maybank building.)

By Car, from the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR)
Exit the BORR at Exit 1703, go straight on until you reach the first traffic lights where you turn right and go under the BORR overpass to continue to the next set of traffic lights, where you turn right to reach Jalan New Ferry.

Bus
Jalan New Ferry is served by Rapid Penang bus 701, 702, 709 and 801.
