Go BackGion Kobu Kaburenjo (GPS: 35.00165, 135.77513) is a theatre where geishas meet and practise their art. It is located in the Gion district of Kyoto.
Once a year, the geishas put on their gala performance, called the Miyako Odori at the Gion Kobu Kaburenjo. This takes place in April, and is one of the few opportunity that ordinary people can catch a glimpse of the geishas performing their art.
