Machida (Japanese: 町田市) is a city on the southernmost part of Tokyo Metropolis. It covers 71.63 sq km (27.65 sq mi) and has a population of 425,000 people (2012 estimate).
Going to Machida
There are a number of train lines to Machida. They include the Odakyū Odawara Line serving Machida, Tamagawagakuen-mae and Tsurukawa stations; the Tōkyū Den-en-toshi Line serving Minami-Machida, Suzukakedai and Tsukushino stations; the Yokohama Line serving Aihara, Hashimoto, Sagamihara, Yabe, Fuchinobe, Kobuchi, Machida and Naruse stations, and the Keiō Sagamihara Line serving Tamasakai station.
