Matsuzakaya Department Store is one of the oldest department store in Japan. It was established in 1611, and has its headquarters in Nagoya. The Matsuzakaya branch in Ginza is located at 6-chome.
Matsuzakaya was the first Japanese department store that did not require its customers to remove their shoes for entering. It caters mainly to older customers, though it also includes a children's department.

The Ginza Station (M16, H06, C08), Entrance A12 and A13 are located in front and to the side of Matsuzakaya Department Store.
