Nagatacho is a district of Tokyo within the Chiyoda ward. It is the location of the instruments of the Japanese government, including the Diet of Japan and the Residence of the Prime Minister. As such, Nagatacho is often used within Japan as a metonym for the Government of Japan.

There are a number of multinationals with their headquarters in Nagatacho. Among them includes NTT docomo, Baker & McKenzie, Citibank and Dow Jones.

How to reach Nagatacho

Nagatacho is served by four subway stations namely Akasaka-mitsuke Subway Station, Kokkai-gijido-mae Subway Station, Nagatacho Subway Station and Tameike-Sanno Subway Station. The subway lines passing through Nagatacho includes the Chiyoda Line, Ginza Line, Hanzomon Line, Marunouchi Line, Namboku Line and Yurakucho Line.
