Nagatacho is a district of Tokyo within the Chiyoda ward. It is the location of the instruments of the Japanese government, including the Diet of Japan and the Residence of the Prime Minister. As such, Nagatacho is often used within Japan as a metonym for the Government of Japan. There are a number of multinationals with their headquarters in Nagatacho.
