Jerejak Rainforest Resort, previously known as the
Jerejak Resort & Spa, is a defunct resort on
Pulau Jerejak, Penang. It has been closed since May 2016. Jerejak Rainforest Resort is the only resort on the island, and was reachable by a ferry run by the resort. The resort had a swimming pool and while it was operating, offered a choice of recreational activities for corporate teambuilding.

The Star reports that Jerejak Rainforest Resort will be re-developed in a joint venture with a Penang-based developer, Ideal Property Group. The redevelopment masterplan, which has been approved by the Penang State Government, will see the construction of a bridge to link Pulau Jerejak to Penang Island. There will also be the construction of 1,200 units of residences on the island, the development of a marina, four- and five-star hotels, a theme park, and a 11.5-km round-island cycling track.
About Jerejak Rainforest Resort
The Jerejak Rainforest Resort is your base for exploring Pulau Jerejak. You can visit the nature sites as well as historic monuments of the island. There is a trail that goes to the former prison camp on the north side of the island, and to the former leprosy camp on the southeast side of the island. These sites and now just relics that have not been maintained.
The Jerejak Rainforest Resort has a number of outdoor activities such as flying fox, suspension bridge, abseiling and wall climbing. It also has a spa offering various types of massages.
