Kampung Agong, Penaga, Penang (16 November 2019)
Kampung Agong (GPS: 5.54023, 100.37974) is a countryside theme park in the village of
Bakar Kapur, in
Penaga, Seberang Perai. Visitors there can also stay overnight at Homestay Kampung Agong, but most people go there for phototaking sessions.
Kampung Agong is a coconut grove beside the paddy fields. The area has been spruced up with various decorative props such as giant hanging birdnests, swings, paddy field sheds and kampung houses, and even a decoy white grand piano. There are bicycles for rent. Also available for rent are traditional costumes.

Going to Kampung Agong
If you are coming from Penang Island, take the Penang Bridge, then continue of the Butterworth Outer Ring Road, then continue north on Jalan Teluk Air Tawar (Federal Route 1) followed by Jalan Penaga (State Route P1). After passing Penaga town, continue north of Jalan Permatang Bendahari until you reach Bakar Kapor. Look for the turning on the right side of the road with the sign "Homestay Kampung Agong" (it is pretty small), across the road from Masjid Bakar Kapor. The countryside park is just about 30 meters from the main road.

Admission
Admission fee to the theme grounds is RM5 per adult and RM3 per school-going child (Nov 2019 prices).
