Kimberley Hotel has a 24-hour front desk. The hotel operates the adjacent Auction Room Cafe, where guests have the option of dining. The elevator to the rooms have card access. Kimberley Hotel is within a short walking distance to the Komtar Bus Terminal. Several large shopping malls are also in the vicinity including Komtar, Prangin Mall and 1st Avenue Mall. In the other direction is Kimberley Street, which is famous for hawker food.

The Komtar Bus Terminal is within a short walking distance. Bus routes for most of Penang Island pass through this terminal.
