Kuan Im Kok 观音阁 (GPS: 5.40931, 100.2799) is a Mahayana Buddhist temple in
Hye Keat Estate,
Air Itam, Penang. It was established in 1957 for the veneration of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, also known locally as Kuan Im or Kuan Yin (and in Mandarin as Guanyin), and in English as the Goddess of Mercy.
In addition to the Kuan Im, subsidiary deities of the temple include the Budai, often known by Westerners as the Laughing Buddha. Within the main prayer hall are altars to the various deities.
